The first Schult manufacturing facility opened its doors in 1934 with the expansion into Redwood Falls in 1973. Throughout the 80s and 90s, Schuldt Homes were known for their maintenance-free features and energy efficiency. In 2004, they became part of the Clayton Home Building Group and gained the buying power and support of Berkshire Hathaway.
